Kindle 2 E Reader Review
The Kindle 2 E Reader is far more slim and sexy than it’s ever been. Far outstripping the Kindle original it can download a wide array of reading materials from the Amazon online store.

There are literally thousands of newspapers, ebooks, magazines as well as blogs that you can use with the Kindle 2 E-Reader.  With the on-board wireless you’re going to find that the Kindle 2 offers you more entertainment than ever before, particularly when combined with the built in wireless–the Whispernet data network.

The Kindle 2 can store a vast assortment of books and other reading materials when you consider that the two gigs of internal memory leaves you room for more than 1500 ebooks. The font size is easily adjustable to help you in dimly lit situations, as well as for those with vision disabilities.

The Kindle2 has a highly improved battery life, giving you longevity that you might not have expected.

The display is perfect for nearly any image and the MP3 and AAC audio that you can play on it makes a nice change as well, permitting you audio as well as visual books. The Text to speech, new to the Kindle is a handy touch to give the kids, or even you, the capability to have the text read aloud to you.

The one real down side is the absence of the expansion slot for adding more memory to the Kindle2. Also PDF files aren’t supported natively so they will require conversion by Amazon and there is a nominal charge for this converting.

The Amazon Kindle 2 has undergone some striking changes in the newest version. While still short of perfection, it is without a doubt one of the better E-Reader models and well worth a second look.
