Making Money Online
With the economy nearly everywhere in the toilet, and people beginning to feel the pinch of things, everyone is looking for a few way to make money, and needless to say, the online community is a great place to make a few dollars. So what’s the best method of making money online?
From the largest website to the smallest, you can easily make money with your own website. Using your small or mid-sized website to make a few dollars will at least cover the cost of upkeep for it and may make you a bit more besides. Getting the right “niche” is everyone’s goal, but the reality of it is that if you’re thinking about it, then someone already did.
Most of us who have been online for years chuckle at the new buzzwords.. niche and cloud computing.. Doing the same things we’ve done for years and calling it something new seems to be the order of things for the “nouveau internet” The fact is that your “niche” is anything you like, anything you’re good at and anything you can offer solid information on.
In our humble opinion, lately.. the Google Gods hate a landing page. If you’ve got nothing more to say than.. “buy my stuff” we really dont’ want to see your page and Google doesn’t rate it up there either. If youv’e got some knowledge however and your’e willing to share it, and sell something along the way, so much the better.
Put what you know out there, along with what it takes to make it, build it, or buy it, and you’re probably going ot make money, even from a small site. Good seo and great keywords, not too competitive, is a good portion of the answer.
If you’re great at crocheting baby clothing, or your make super quillts and are willing to offer something to the internet community, as well as your quilts, get your site up, add a few advertisements or sell your own products and even if your site gets just five visitors a day, you’re probably going to make a few extra dollars. Of course its a bit more complex than that if you want to make a LOT of money, but you’ve got to start somewhere.
Add a few affiliates to your page and count your clicks.. then work upward from there.
